The Lodge Grounds
Located in the centre of North Berwick, The Lodge Grounds has wide open spaces, mature trees, lavender garden, wild gardens, a formal garden with aviary. A children’s play area with inclusive play equipment for all abilities so that children can play on together. It has great views of North Berwick Law, across the Forth and the Bass Rock.
A great picnic venue and celebrating a Green Flag Award for the third year running, putting them on the map as one of the best green spaces in the UK. During the Summer months the café is open for teas, coffees and a lovely selection of cakes.
The Lodge Grounds were created in the 17th century by the Dalyrymple family and became a public park in 1939 when bought by the North Berwick Town Council.
