Dunbar Golf Club
With almost 400 years of documented golf at Dunbar, Dunbar Golf Club has been home here since 1856. This Open Championship Final Qualifying Course consistently remains one of Scotland’s finest links courses. Golfers can enjoy Dunbar’s reputation for the ‘sunniest place in Scotland’ and its famed ‘Dunbar breeze’. Fourteen of the holes hug the coast within yards of waves that crash against the rocky shore.
Old Tom Morris, James Braid (five times Open champion) and Ben Sayers of North Berwick laid out the course that is largely played today.
