Seton Sands

Seton Sands is a wild and undisturbed beach has a mix of both sand and rocks to play about in and provides an ideal location for family day trips. The shallow bay is a popular watersports location for windsurfers, kitesurfers and sea kayaks. There is a dog exercise area and the beach provides a good walking and horse riding. Located to the east of Port Seton, the beach is situated at the western end of Longniddry Bents and is part of the John Muir Way coastal walk.

Longniddry Bents is a beach just north of Longniddry it  is almost 2 miles in length, which includes Gosford Bay to the east side, and the rockier Seton Sands to the west. Along the beach are the remains of a wall of World War II concrete tank traps erected as protection from any attempted German invasion. Many of which are now hidden in the surrounding sea-grass and sea buckthorn bushes.

Longniddry train station is a little over a kilometre from Seton Sands beach.
